The event is due on August 12 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala.

According to the organizer, Joseph Masembe, Uganda’s little hands have gone green.

“Come and see our incredible journey and be a part of history as the Pearl of Africa hosts the first of its kind green family fun festival hosted by Uganda’s green superstar kids,” said Masembe.

“Our environment is our future and our future is our responsibility. Dress code is strictly anything green. Every child will receive a free fruit tree seedling. Come and give hope to our future,” he added.

Sponsored by Chimpreports.com, Daily Monitor, Rwenzori, NTV, National Forestry Authority, Minute Maid, DSTV among others, the function is expected to attract Uganda’s top corporate class, environmentalists, government officials and the general public.

The event will be a huge milestone in boosting efforts with the view of protecting our country from environmental degradation.
