Kenyan referee Thomas Onyango was in charge of the game watched by a moderate audience. Jubal Mwangawilo and Brasan Mamati were his assistants.
Ceaser Okhuti and Julius Ogwang scored for Uganda in the 7th and 39th minute respectively.
Uganda played without any of its professional players and the senior home based boys.
