Chimp Corps have found dozens of sniffer dogs combing the area of explosives.

At least 4,000 security personnel from Military Intelligence, police counter terrorism, Internal Security Organisation and Special Forces have been deployed to avert any potential terror attack.

Boda bodas have been blocked from accessing the stadium gates and vendors who have in past sold food and other edibles near the sports ground will not be tolerated.

No bottles containing either mineral water or beer will be allowed in the stadium.

The gates open at exactly 11am.

Sources say Kampala Metropolitan police boss Andrew Kaweesi and Counter Terrorism boss John Ndugutse will head security of the function.

The chief guest is Vice President Edward Kiwanuka though IGP Kale Kayihura is also expected to attend the match.

Police authorities have maintained a high terrorism alert to encourage public vigilance against terror strikes.
