Okurut said government would meet costs of the burial arrangements.

She further announced there would be a memorial service at Namirembe Cathedral.

“Government is deeply saddened by the death of Kakoma. President Yoweri Museveni and State House have been footing his medical bills but God took his life. We will support the family of Kakoma throughout this difficult period,” said Okurut.
