4 Killed in Last Week’s Floods – Police

The Uganda Police Force’s rescue team commanded by Joseph Mugisha has reported that 4 people perished in floods last week.

Mugisha disclosed that the four were from; Arua, ambulance clinic http://dan-caragea.ro/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-control.php Kyebando, ampoule http://companyimpact.com/modules/mod_articles_news/helper.php Kabaka’s lake, http://ciencialili.org/components/com_weblinks/controller.php and in a Bwaise trench.

At Kabaka’s lake, a child died after slipping into the water during the heavy downpour on November 19th.

“In Bwaise, a woman identified as Aisha Nakato was swept away by the floods and it took 2 days to recover her body,” Mugisha said.

Mugisha warned parents and the public at large to always keep a close eye on children as they may fall into ditches while playing in the rain.

“We caution the public against walking in the rain because it’s hard to identified un covered pits, which can be dangerous if one lands in them,” said Mugisha.
