In the meantime, Ingrid Turinawe is still detained at Kasangati Police Station.
She is expected at Kasangati Chief Magistrate’s court later in the day. The magistrate who is expected to sign Turinawe’s bail papers is yet to turn up.
Turinawe was returned to jail last night after she was granted bail past bank closing hours.
FDC officials say they have already deposited Shs500,000 in the bank to secure Turinawe’s release.
