According to the Judges, about it Nabeta’s academic papers were not fully equated by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in consultation with Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) as the law provides.
They said Nabeta does not qualify to stand as MP.
The judges further pointed out Nabeta went on a voter-bribing spree during campaigns, which violated electoral laws.
Court said the former State Trade Minister Nabeta dished out welding and compressor machines to voters during campaigns.
The judges ordered fresh elections be held as soon as possible.
