At least three people have lost their lives and dozens others escaped with injuries in a road accident involving one of the UPDF trucks which are evacuating Ugandans from the unstable South Sudan.
The army revealed this afternoon that that the accident happened a few hours ago at a place called Jableni.

The accident is believed to have been as a result of a sharp bend that they driver failed to negotiate.

Muhanga told Chimpreports that the army tried sending a chopper to the accident scene to evacuate the injured but could not because of the terrain of the area. The rescue team had therefore to use the road.
Mid last week, government revealed that up to 12 Ugandans had been killed, some crashed by army tankers when the fighting had just erupted between the soldiers of President Salva Kiir and those of his Deputy Riek Machar.
