Ssebina further revealed that this roadmap is predicted to be ready by November this year and will be presented in the next summit meeting due to take place in Kenya.

Ssebina elaborated that some of the issues to be in the road map include having one Federal Executive and institutions like the Electoral Commission, Federal Judiciary, Federal Legislative, Central Bank, Finance Commission among others.

He however blamed government institutions for reluctance in informing Ugandans about the benefits and opportunities in the community, attributing this to the poor information access put in place for Ugandans.

Ssebina further added that East African community member states will finalize the ratification process of the East African Monetary Union Protocol by the end of July 2014 thereby Crediting Tanzania for its timely finalization of the protocol.
