One of the witnesses identified as Emmanuel Nyanzi had earlier asked Buganda Road Court Magistrate, for sale Lillian Buchana to give his testimony in confidence.


The matter was adjourned to July 31, drug 2014 for more witnesses to testify against Mubiru whose alleged sodomy acts rattled the nation last year.


Among other key witnesses that are going to testify in this matter are Pastor Solomon Male and George Oundo the chairperson of Ex Gay Uganda who was also a victim of sodomy acts.

7:30am: Buganda Road court magistrate Olive Kazaarwe will Thursday preside over the hearing of a case in which Christopher Mubiru is accused of sodomy.

Kazaarwe in March postponed the trial to allow prosecution complete its investigation.


Sex videos of Mubiru having sex with young men men recently leaked to the media, touching off huge public outrage.


Mubiru denies allegations of sodomy and other unnatural sexual acts.


It is alleged that Mubiru in the month or around December 2009 at Mengo- Kisingiri zone in Rubaga division, had canal knowledge of Emmanuel Nyanzi against the order of nature.


He was arrested and detained at Katwe police station last following the leakage of the sodomy videos.


He was later released on police bond with authorities saying victims had feared to testify against him.

Mubiru is represented by lawyer Muhammed Goloba.
