Lukwago also said that the opposition would accept to field candidates like him who be compromised by the incumbent Government, “Not even at the lowest level because this will jeopardize our plan to liberate power.”
According to Former FDC leader, Rtd Col. Kizza Besigye, the opposition has all what it takes to overthrow President Museveni ‘dictatorship’, “We do not need the help of corrupted individuals to take over power,” noted the colonel who has lost three times to Museveni in Presidential Elections.
Busiro East MP, Hon Medard Seggona requested residents to vote eligible personnel and not color, “Vote people who will liberate power but not colors which win your votes with money and later neglect you” Seggona noted.
The rally attracted a number of other opposition politicians like UPC party President Olala Otunnu, Hon Muwanga Kivumbi of Butambara, Hon Mathias Mpuuga of Masaka, Hon Kasibante Moses of Rubaga North and many others.
