“Honourable members we all remember what happened here last week and the changes in our security following that incident. All of us are supposed to adhere to the new changes though I have got many complaints from you,” said Kadaga.

Two youthful activists last week mysteriously beat security at Parliament before dumping pigs painted yellow, the official colour of the ruling National Resistance Movement party.

The youth, who are now remanded at Luzira Prison, said they were demonstrating against high unemployment rate among young people caused by corruption.

Meanwhile, Kadaga informed the house that investigations are still going on to establish how the two pig were brought to Parliament and that the final report will be communicated accordingly.

“The investigation into the matter is ongoing by police who are in close touch with the Parliament commission and the results shall be communicated soon.”
