The 35,000 square metre fully air conditioned block is estimated to have cost Mukwano around $30m in construction.
The mall opened on February 14 but had not been commissioned yet.
It has become the ‘go to’ place for most Kampala fun loving people due to the various entertainment, dining and shopping places like Century Cinema, nice restaurants like KFC, Children’s play areas and supermarkets like Nakumatt.
Mukwano Group of Companies also owns another building in Kigali, Rwanda constructed by Roko Company. This building that is similar in structure to Acacia mall is also estimated to have cost Mukwano $30m.
High-end clients such as banks and supermarkets have already taken space at the Mall.
