Zawedde finished second behind Chinese Taipei’s Lee-Shu Hui in the just concluded 2014 Korea Open International Wood ball Championship.

The two tied at 262 strokes after playing 60 Gates on June16, 2014.

“I lost in the knock-out because of the fatigue; I had never played this number of gates at any competition,” confessed Zawedde upon her arrival at Entebbe Airport.

This makes it two medals for Zawedde this year, having won the Silver in India in January 2014.

Zawedde becomes the most highly rated wood ball players since the sport was introduced in Uganda.
