salve geneva;”>While addressing guests at the official launch on Monday, Kadaga noted that the construction of Century hotel follows a resolution that was taken by the 6th parliament to offer visible investments in Kamuli.

“Your Excellency when we were in the 6th Parliament, we agreed to invest visibly in Kamuli. Century Hotel Ltd is, therefore, my investment; it has cost me Shs3bn of my own money,” noted Kadaga.

She however called upon the president to ensure that the country gets constructive banks that can offer services effectively to Ugandans without always first tossing them despite their status in the country.

“Your Excellency, I want to complain about banks. I have been an MP for a long time, am a Speaker, but it is difficult to access a loan,” charged the Speaker.

“I was tossed by Post Bank Uganda, then came the famous Uganda Development Bank, DFCU who made is worse as they demanded that I pay back Shs600m in seven years at 37 percent interest rate. We need construction banks”, Kagada expressed her dissatisfaction over services offered by banks in the country.

The president thereafter visited Prince Gabula Nadiobe IV at his home which was constructed by government where he addressed people in the region.
