Barya also cautioned that it is not good to follow the common thinking that ICT is exclusively for the youth and that it should be used by everyone to approach day to day challenges.
The conference which was attended by over 1000 secondary school head teachers was organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports in conjunction with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Learn with Grandma and Kisubi Associated Writers Agency (KAWA) with an aim of promoting ICT education practices in Ugandan schools.
