The dynamic duo recorded an album and enjoyed reasonable success before breaking up in a way that has sprouted numerous rumors of rivalry.

However, the France-based Ugandan-born artiste and mother of two has persistently become an eye catching fellow to both the young and the old fans of her music lovers.

Before taking up her music career, Namubiru went to Namasagali College where she was active in both acting and singing, which school groomed her to a songstress today.

After high school, she joined a band that performed mostly at corporate functions and along the way, she started recording songs where she released “Never Learn to Say Goodbye”, which happened to be her first song that she ever wrote.

Namubiru’s striking looks gave her several opportunities for companies’ commercials including Nile Breweries before the Afro-soul group I-Jay disintegrated.

Namubiru got married to a French man, Frank Morel, with whom she has two sons.

The songstress has never dared to look back, and pocketed several Awards under her belt, apart from a recent misfortune that almost got her hanged in Japan after being found with samples of cocaine.
