2017/18 Fufa Big League Set to Kickoff Today

Synergy FC (red) start the season away to Bumate FC

The new season for the Fufa Big league officially gets underway this Thursday with a number of games set to be played across the country.

Big league is the second tier league in the football pyramid in Uganda and teams will start showing their ambitions of promotion to Uganda Premier League right from onset.
Synergy FC under the tutorship of youthful coach Brian Ssenyondo start the campaign with an away trip to Bundibujjo to take on new comers Bumate FC.
Synergy came close to winning promotion to the top tier league last season but lost to Mbarara City and will be hoping for a perfect start to hit the ground going.
Money bags Nyamityobora FC who have done massive recruitment in the transfer period start the campaign away to Simba FC in Gayaza.
The Mbarara based side is coached by Alex Isabirye and signed several experienced players including Godfrey Buni, Patrick Ssenfuka, Elkunah Nkugwa and David Kiiza among others.
Paidha Black Angels host Busia Fisheries at Bar Okoro stadium in Zombo while JMC Hippos who got relegated from Uganda Premier League have made a daunting trip to Moyo to play against Vura TC.
