2017 AFCON: Uganda-Comoros Game Time Changed

Continental football body, cure CAF has changed the timing of the penultimate 2017 Africa cup of nations group D qualifiers.

Uganda Cranes who had initially been scheduled to play Comoros decider on 3rd September from 4pm as per FUFA was shifted to Sunday 4th at 8:30 pm.

However, the federation cited security and other logistical concerns and requested CAF to reconsider the changes.

On Tuesday, the governing body posted new timing with the clash set to kick off at 5pm local time but the Sunday date unchanged.

The change also affects the Burkina Faso- Botswana which was initially meant for Sunday from 7pm Ugandan time. The match will now kick off at 4pm in Uganda (2pm in Ouagadougou).

Burkina Faso lead the group with ten points same as Uganda though they enjoy a better head to head superiority.

Both teams need to win their last fixtures to qualify for the January finals.

The Cranes date with Kenya’s Harambe stars in an international build up remains unchanged on Wednesday 30th August from 4pm
