2017 Afcon: Ghana Set for Rwanda after Defeating Congo

Ghana national team, mind http://danielborda.net/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-render-shortcode-endpoint.php The Black stars are scheduled to travel to Rwanda on Thursday early morning after a successful international build up match that saw them defeat Congo 3-2 on Monday evening.

The Black stars grabbed an early two-goal first half lead through Richmond Boakye-Yiadom’s opener and Babele’s own goal before Claude Le Roy’s men came from behind to draw matters mid second half.

On form striker Jordan Ayew saved the stars with a beautiful header late second half.

The friendly match against the Red Devils of Congo was the first at the newly constructed 60, 000 Kintele stadium commissioned before the game.

Rwanda’s camp:

All the players summoned by headcoach John McKinstry have reported in camp. Six Professionals have also joined the team. They include; skipper Haruna Niyonzima (Yanga, Tanzania), Mugiraneza Jean Baptiste (Azam Fc, Tanzania), central defender Emery Bayisenge (Lask Linz, Austria), striker Quentin Rushenguziminega (Lausanne Sport, Swiss), central defender Salomon Nirisarike and left back Abouba Sibomana (Gor Mahia, Kenya).
