According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Patrick Onyango, it is believed that the watchman (Peter Maganda) was given chloroform in the food they had shared with him.

Onyango told journalists that the two suspects who are detained at Central Police Station (CPS) stole 11 flat screens, six laptops, assorted stationery and other property.

“The two are being charged with theft, breaking into shops, robbery of a mobile phone and Shs 100,000 from the watchman,” Onyango noted.

He, therefore, appealed to all security officers to avoid eating or drinking anything from strangers which might put their lives in danger.
