“Kabafunzaki wants to use the meeting to achieve his personal gains yet the meeting has a different purpose,” Musasizi lashed out.
According to sources that attended, Musasizi threw Kabafunzaki out of the meeting hall immediately after introductions.
“Kabafunzaki, who is the Wakiso district councillor, refused to step outside prompting Musasizi to halt the meeting,” continues the source.
According to Hon Musasizi, the meeting was to be attended by the Members of the NRM sub county delegates but some individuals “fluked” it for selfish interests.
Kabafunzaki, on the other hand, affirmed that being a member of the NRM party, he had every right to attend the meeting.
“I also came to attend to ensure that our party gains from the campaigns to popularise the Kyankwanzi resolutions,” he explained.
He also accused the Kabale district Chairperson, Patrick Besigye Keihwa, of being biased by ordering for the removal of his campaign posters from the sub county offices.
According to the posters, Kafunzaki is poised to unseat the incumbent Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Jack Sabiti, in the next general elections.
