The electorates wondered why they should trust the President with another term in office after failing to deliver on several fronts in Kamuganguzi sub county.

William Tindyebwa, the Kamuganguzi sub county Councilor, said that they lack enough machinery for repairing feeder roads in areas of Katenga and Bunagana.

“Electorates are complaining that the party is dying out from the grassroots level due to lack of publicity,” he pointed out.

The Kamuganguzi district Councilor, Julius Barusya, also noted that there is also a problem of unequal distribution of resources like the road fund.

According to Barusya, lowland districts like Ankole get more road funds compared to Kabale district which is vast with ragged terrain.

He said that Kabale district currently has 25 sub counties with one tractor to work on all the feeder roads, which is currently down, yet the local government act doesn’t allow them to hire another one even when they have money.

Meanwhile, Hon Bahati promised to deliver their message and asked them to support the President in the next general elections.

Bahati also visited other wards like Mukarangye, Kinyogo, Kyasano, Kyonyo, Kyerere all in Kamuganguzi Sub County where the electorates unanimously promised to rally behind President Museveni.
