The show organised by Rotary International Uganda is aimed at building a new blood bank at Mengo Hospital.

Olomide is known for classics like Effrakata, Cle Boa, Lovemycine, Diabolos, Grand Pretre Mere, Soupou, Haut de Gamme: Koweït and Rive Gauche, among others.

He joined music as a way of survival and improvising for his middle-class family by singing popular songs with his own lyrics and altered rhythms until a neighbour taught him how to play the guitar.
