“It is sad to lose a doctor who has contributed a lot to club football. He also had a bright future as he served wholeheartedly on any project assigned to him,” said FUFA Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson in a condolence message on Tuesday.
“These are trying times for all those close to Ssenkumba. The federation extends its sympathies to his family, friends, football fraternity and Vipers FC.”
FUFA President, Moses Magogo said he was personally known to the deceased and that “I found it very easy to deal with him whenever we interacted.”
He added: “On behalf of the entire FUFA Executive, Members of Staff, FUFA Member Associations, the Uganda Football family and on my own behalf I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Family, Relatives and the management of Vipers Sports Club.”
The Federation provided a bus to transport mourners and sum of Shs 500,000 towards funeral arrangements.
