“It all started with a group of boda boda riders storming the party headquarters demanding at the same time to see a one NRM mobiliser, Sumini Nabagereka,” a source said.
“As soon as Nabagereka started speaking, the youth booed her. They were accusing her of mismanaging over Shs 1bn which was donated to boda boda cyclists by President Museveni in 2011.”
The meeting was purposely organised by several NRM mobilisers to draw a master plan so as to mobilise votes for the President come 2016 presidential campaigns.
The organisers of the meeting headed by Hakim Matovu told Chimpreports that Nabageraka and her rivals were just part of the big congregation that was invited to promote the NRM activities.
“In fact, we cannot continue to work with such undisciplined people. We may disqualify them from the mobilization desk,” Matovu said.
Police had to intervene to calm the situation but not until Nabagereka had been driven out of the meeting and off Kyadondo premises.
