“Uganda does not seem to understand that every citizen can at one time become lame or disabled; when you look at most of the shopping malls in town, they don’t have facilities for the disabled. All parking yards in town do not cater for the disabled yet other countries have such facilities, the disabled are supposed to have a separate parking,” Bebe Cool noted.

Bebe Cool recommended that instead of government focusing on ‘petty’ issues such as legislating the dressing code for the citizens; it should focus on enforcing several institutions to offer facilities that favour the disabled.

“And for God’s sake, why would a full Minister focus on the woman’s parts below the waist? This is really ashaming.”

“I think Uganda still has a lot of crucial issues waiting that need to be addressed which include, among others, bettering the lives of the Persons with Disabilities (PWD).”

He further blamed all the skyrocketing NGOs that continue to take advantage of the PWDs for their selfish interests and benefits.
