Court chaired by Col. Geoffrey Mujuni sentenced Bob aged 37 to 15 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to have killed Malwa Moses on September 16, 2013.
Prosecution led by Lt. Alex Mukhwana told court that on the fateful day, RA 131005 CPL Bob Eliot picked a quarrel with one Shabban and Moses Malwa at a drinking spree before he ran to the home of his master and picked an SMG gun.
Prosecution further told court that on his way back to the trading centre, the convict met the deceased and shot him on leg and chest killing him instantly.
He left the body in the middle of the road lying in a pool of blood and went home.
Passing his judgment, Col Mujuni said the act was horrible and hurting.
He sentenced Eliot to 15 years in imprison to serve as deterrent to the others who would be offenders.
