Nyanzi instead asked Lukwago to await for the court ruling on March 28, this Friday, by Justice Lydia Mugambe to determine whether the Electoral Commission is to continue with the by-election to fill his seat or not.

The Attorney General’s lawyers led by Martin Mwambusya in January this year had filed an application seeking Justice Yasin Nyanzi to disqualify himself from their case which the latter declined to do forcing them to appeal against the decision.
