Chimpreports understands the court order to throw out Mugoya was issued a couple of weeks ago but had not been effected until yesterday.

“We are here to enforce the court order and to protect the court bailiffs as they carry out their work,” said Kabalagala District Police Commander Francis Chemusto.

A few days earlier, Mugoya lost Kibuli Girls School to Global Trust bank over an unspecified debt.

The development shines light on the economic situation in the country as businessmen continue to lose properties to banks especially due to high interest rates.
