This year’s two-day event starts on Tuesday at CEDAT Conference Hall, Makerere University, Kampala.
The presentations will be facilitated by Total staff.
In a brief statement, Total E & P, which is engaged in oil exploration and extraction activities in western Uganda, said the function will be an event open to all students hoping to get career guidance specific to the oil and gas industry.
Members of the public will as well get insights into Total as an energy company, soft skills pertinent to verbal and written communication as well as networking with officials from Total.
The event is aligned to Total’s goal of creating partnerships with education institutions in the host country as a recipe for developing local talent and integrating them into its business.
It will also present students with hands-on field experience, career path options and employment information whilst showcasing and profiling the company’s brand in the industry.
Mr Imrane Barry, General Manager Total Uganda Limited will officiate at the opening ceremony on Tuesday.
