The Minister said journalists are also harassed during information gathering but she promised to ensure both reporters and editors get free access to information in every corner.


Western Uganda media foundation was started with the major aim of addressing several challenges that are associated with the profession so as to forge a way forward.


Robert Katemburura, a member of the foundation, called upon Ugandan courts to help journalists who are harassed at work and others who are forced into sex by bosses in the name of protecting their jobs.
