Coca Cola Boosts Cross Country Championships

Kennedy Mutenyo, the Coca Cola Promotions Manager, while handing over the package to the organisers said, “We shall be there for any assistance required by the NUSUF during and after the event. We even supported the organisation of last year’s African University cross country championships’’.


Over 28 countries registered to take part in this championship with Africa entering the highest number of countries (12).


Uganda will be represented by a team of 14 athletes of which six and eight are ladies and gents respectively.


Benjamin Longiros will lead the Ugandan team as head coach.


Uganda missed the last event in Poland but bid to host this year’s one day event.
