The suspect, who is currently held at Fort Portal Police Station, was arrested yesterday from Buhinga Referral Hospital in Kabarole district.

The suspect, who was falsely branding himself as a medical officer of the said hospital, convinced Bogere that there are some expertises (whites) who are coming to the hospital to sensitise the communities about HIV/AIDS and will need interpreters in the local languages.

On the fateful day, it is alleged that Bogere had an appointment with the suspect to discuss the way forward pertaining to the job only to disagree and ended up in a scuffle which attracted the public and the hospital administrators leading to his arrest.

Immediately after his arrest, more complainants came up claiming to have been conned by the same suspect.
