The results in question belong to 1800 students who sat for Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) last year.

Their results are still being held by Uneb on allegations of exam malpractice.

Although Mandy had said earlier on that the team was to officially commence investigations into the matter with immediate effect, a few internal factors have delayed the exercise.

Uneb will meet all students whose results are being held to give them a chance for defending themselves but if found guilty, they will face the penalty.

“Any teacher found guilty will have their papers cancelled,” warned Mandy.

Basing on the 2013 UCE examination results, Uganda seems not to achieve the 2040 Millennium Goals (Education), especially in rural districts of the country.
