Maj Muramagi Planned Assassinations

Military sources say some of the people Muramagi reportedly planned to kill include MPs and a very important government official.

The charge sheet indicated that Muramagi and others who are still at large drew the assassination plans between May 2013 and February 2014, “conduct that is prejudicial to good order and discipline of the UPDF.”

Sources further said Muramagi had been put under investigations after it emerged that he was among exiled General David Sejusa’s contacts in Uganda’s security.

The State is being represented by Captains Fred Kangwamu and Gerald Bamwitirebye Capt Nasser Drago is Muramagi’s lawyer.

The accused is a brother to Uganda’s representative to United Nations and former Health Minister, Richard Nduhuura.
