Speaking at the unveiling of the newly signed players, Safina Nagayi, the Team Manager, said they are bringing young players who easily adopt to the clubs playing format.

This include; Winfred Masaaba, a centre player from Kobap Volleyball Club, Benjamin Oyat from UCU, Velhard Zungu, a centre player from Kobap Volleyball Club, Derick Kazooba from St Marys Kitende and Joseph Opeto from Gombe.

Nemostars is the second men team to represent Ugandan in this international championship.

However, despite winning the national league, the club has not been performing well.

Tom Amao, the team captain, attributes this to lack of enough players which has over exhausted their players when it comes to major tournaments.

The club was forced to reduce on the number of players from 18 to 15.

Meanwhile, Ndejje will represent Ugandan in the girls’ championships after excelling in the national competitions.
