He added: “And this is healthy. Political entropy is the measure of randomness and parameter of disorder – to the extent that what might appear to be chaos or decay is in fact a systems way of smoothing differences and a search for equilibrium.”
The remarks come against the backdrop of public exchanges among NRM officials ahead of the 2016 elections.
Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi’s family members have since accused President Museveni of working to clip the NRM Secretary General’s political wings.
Jacqueline Mbabazi said her husband was being “unfairly targeted” and that recent developments in NRM have brought to light “fascist tendencies” within the ruling party.
Mbabazi saw his powers reduced last week with the appointment of youthful Minister, Richard Todwong as head of mobilization under the Secretary General.
However, Rwakakamba argues that such developments should not worry NRM supporters.
“I can tell you, NRM will emerge out of the ongoing internal ideas contest stronger and ready to defeat its political opponents in other political parties with a knockout uppercut punch.”
