William Kasozi, a taxi driver at Bakuli stage, is now jobless after allegedly driving Lutalo for a month to different destinations with the hope that he will be paid at the end of the month.

“We entered an agreement with Lutalo where he agreed to pay me Shs 600,000 for my services but he later turned me a laughing stoke,” explains Kasozi.

”Unfortunately, l did not inform my boss about this deal because he could never allow his taxi to operate outside Kampala; so l decided to keep it as a secret. We moved to Wakiso for a full week, we went to Luwero also for a full week and to Mubende for another.”

“Afterwards, Lutalo gave me only Shs 100,000 and the next time l went back to his studio (Mozat in Mengo), he pretended that I was new in his sight denying to have ever seen me.”

Kasozi added that when his boss requested for the money at the end of the month, he had nothing to offer him which prompted him to arrest Kasozi and drag him to prison for a period of one week.

“I’m now giving Lutalo a period of one week and if he fails to pay, I will take him to courts of law.”
