“John Ken Lukyamuzi and the other two lost a vote as conservative party leaders in 2012 but they still call themselves party leaders, something that confuses the public,” says Walyemera.

He adds that a court case number HCCS 262/2 was also opened against the three in the High Court, however, it was considered appropriate to exhaust the internal party disciplinary mechanism before the court process.

“Hon Ken Lukyamuzi has to answer allegations of failure to remit part of his Parliamentary emoluments for party activities as the party executive declared two years and this one has to pay 20% on his salary.”

Meanwhile, Conservative Party has declared Mr. Magira Wasiga as a party flag bearer for the Buburo West Parliamentary seat following the High Court declaration of the seat vacant.

Walyemera announced Wasiga publically ready to take over the vacant Buburo West Manafwa district.

Magira contested for the same seat in 2011 general elections but lost to the embattled Tony Kipoi who is now under police custody.

Wasiba is ready to bring a fundamental change by ensuring the supply of water, improving infrastructures like roads and schools, and availing electricity to the residents.
