She appealed to Local governments to facilitate the Child and Family protection Units of police to reduce on domestic violence.

“Domestic Violence retards development of the society,” she said.

Speaking at the same platform, the Bushenyi district Chairperson, Willis Bashasha hailed CEWIGO for considering Bushenyi in its programs.

He pledged the district commitment towards those developmental plans.

Bashasha tasked Citizens to be patriotic.

“Citizens should fulfill their responsibilities before tasking Government officials to account for their funds. How does a person without a toilet ask for accountability from the district Chairman?” he wondered.
