But the youth in Museveni’s home district want him to come out clean on his 2016 plans.
“President Museveni should not just keep quiet. We want him to openly launch campaigns for another term because we are ready to support him,” said Kazo County Youth leader Nasasira Magango last Friday at the Kiruhura District headquarters.
Nasasira praised NRM for initiating poverty-eradication schemes such as Youth Livelihood Programme and NAADS and fostering peace and security thus creating a foundation for industrialisation, agricultural modernization, democracy and economic prosperity.
“We have already awakened our network to look for votes and are only waiting for the President’s signal,” said Nasasira.
The Kazo County Youth Leadership Forum comprises of all Kiruhura Sub-county youth chairpersons.
Sources say the group is expected to meet President Museveni in the not-too-distant future.
