“Our support has been largely coming from bodaboda riders, mechanics and other semiliterate youths in urban areas, yet these have a lesser role to play in shaping the future politics of the country. This is what we want to rectify,” she told this Corp on Monday.

The Students wing, she revealed, would bring together students from all universities and other tertiary institutions in Uganda, “who share a belief in radicalism and Change”

“This country was founded by youths at independence, but since then, government has been slowly edging out the youth element, trying deliberately to lock out university students from partaking in politics,” she said.

“This is the particular generation that we are penetrate and bring back on board, inculcate in them political abilities and hand them power from grassroots upward.”
