Desh Kananura Loses Temper As Fraud Case Stalls

He further explained that the amount would be paid in a period of 12 months.


According to Kananura, “failure to show up by the complainant is a clear indicator that he doesn’t want the case to end soon” and therefore asked for a long adjournment of the case.


It’s alleged that between November 16 and December 25 2013, Kananura entered an agreement to supply a grader 140OG-Caterpillar at sh340m to a one Sulait Ssemakula of Sema Properties Ltd but never supplied it and instead went into hiding.


He is also alleged to have assaulted a one Stephen Nakube, a police officer who had gone to arrest him over the matter.


The Magistrate adjourned the case to May 28, 2014.
