Nsimbe revealed that he didn’t make the changes because of injury but he used players’ ability as he assessed them yesterday.

“None of the players is sick. I assessed them and changes were made in relation to their (players) ability and fitness,’’ recounts Nsimbe in an online interview.

Nsimbe is praying hard it doesn’t rain during the game because it’s a rainy season in Zambia.

He said this will deeply affect his players to the extent KCC may lose the game if it does rain.

Meanwhile, KCC vice chairperson, Allan Ssewanyana, dismissed allegations that players rejected the pay of $100 given to them as early as they touched Zambian soil.

“It’s not true, players haven’t gone on strike because of money and the team is still strong and firm and also ready to take on Nkana today,’’ explained Ssewanyana.

Expected KCC line-up

Jamal Salim, Saka Mpiima, Habib Kavuma, Fahad Kawoya, Richard Malinga, Ntege Ivan, Gadafi Kiwanuka, Wadri William, Herman Wasswa, Tony Odur and Majwega Brian.
