16 Year Poisons Family Members

Police in Rugashali sub-county Kibaale District is holding a 16 year old Boy on allegations that he poisoned his step mother and two family members.

The OC Rugashali Police Post Nelson Rubwama confirmed the arrest and identified the suspect as Living Ngabirano a P.4 drop-out and resident of Kibanda Village in Rugashali sub-county Kibaale District.

The suspect allegedly used poison commonly used for killing wild animals which he mixed with milk and served it to the family members on Monday morning.

The suspect when grilled by police, said his father Kanyaihamba refused to give him land where he could build his house and that his step mother Alice Kiiza was mistreating him.
