“The seven deceased persons who were travelling in a car registration number UAQ215M, rammed into a salon car KBA312B, where four people died on spot and the others died as they were being dashed to hospital,” Kaweesi explained.
“Investigations have revealed that these were drunk and were driving at a terrific speed before the accident occurred late in the night.”
The dead have been identified as; Mulyowa, Kawesa, Ssebitebi and one Isma, whereas the injured were Bosco Ssesanga and Paddy Mugerwa, all residents of Mukono who had come to the beach to celebrate the day.
However, investigations are going on for the shootings that involved three deaths during the festive season, but police warn the public to be extra careful as the year comes to an end.
