“Fans always attack Federation officials after some fight to an extent of calling us cheaters but it is not the case. That is why we have decided to come up with an idea of educating them about the laws of the game,” said Gombya, the Uganda Kick-boxing Federation’s general Secretary.

Gombya also stated that they have a task of letting people know the many styles in the game of kick-boxing which may also be part of regulations of the game.

“The game has many styles and we hope teach people how they are exhibited. This will be done in a spirit on widening the kick-boxing fan base,” added Gombya.

“Much has been planned to be done by the Federation next year and we are looking ahead to push the game forward.”
