Kabale Priest Dies In Motor Accident

It’s alleged that while the rider was heading to Kabale town; at a corner and out of recklessness, the motor vehicle driver negotiated it from the opposite side of the road and knocked them down.

They were rushed to Kabale referral hospital where the Reverend died moments later while the rider is nursing a serious compound fracture.

The Kigezi regional police spokesperson, Elly Matte, said the police are investigating the case and both the vehicle and motor cycle are packed at Kabale police station while the driver stays on the run.

“More consciousness is required by all road users for such problems to be avoided, otherwise, the police will not hesitate to deal with such culprits that break the road safety laws,” Matte stated.
