KCC Set For Tanzania Friendly Matches

The club resumed training but some players didn’t make it claiming to have been called after a short notice, however, they will attend soon.

Although KCC is planning to travel to Tanzania and Zanzibar, players like Majwega Brian who are with the national team preparing for the CHAN championship, will miss out.

KCC head coach, George Nsimbe, has insisted his bosses should at least help him have only two new strikers in his team so that it can compete favourably both in the FUFA Super League and in CAF Champions League next year.

“My team looks good but to compete favourably, I think I should add in some two strikers.”

Nsimbe added that although his team was drawn to El Merrikh in the CAF Champions League, he is not worried since the same team he met in 2009 has not changed a lot.

But remember, it was the same team “though not changed a lot” that eliminated KCC from this tournament.

“The El Merrikh we met in 2009 has not changed a lot but it is a matter of rectifying mistakes that led us to bowing out that time,” added Nsimbe.
